ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRANCE
Eligibility Requirements are as follows:
Candidate must voluntarily agree to enter the 25th JDRC program
Candidate must be age eighteen (18) years or older
Candidate must not have violent offenses
Must be a consensus among the Treatment Team members that the candidate would be an appropriate option for the 25th JDRC program
Candidate must plead guilty to any pending charge(s)
Candidate must self-report a history of drug and/or alcohol abuse
Candidate must have all legal matters in other courts resolved
Candidate cannot have an acute, unstable mental illness or be actively suicidal/homicidal
Candidate must score appropriately on the Tennessee Risk Assessment System (TN-RAS)
The 25th Judicial District Recovery Court
This program consists of five (5) core phases & four (4) aftercare phases. The entire program at minimum lasts 24 months.
Core Phases
Phase One (1) is designed to last thirty (30) days. Actual program time will vary with compliance. Phase One (1) includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Random drug/alcohol screens at least two (2) times per week
Attend three (3) self-help support meetings weekly
Successfully complete/advance in all recommended treatment modalities
Begin IOP or the recommended treatment modality
Pay $5.00 weekly 25th JDRC fee
Appear at office for reporting weekly
Appear at court as scheduled on monthly calendar
Must have fourteen (14) consecutive days of abstinence from all mood-altering substances before promoting to Phase Two (2)
Phase Two (2) is designed to last ten (10) weeks. Actual program time will vary with compliance. Phase Two (2) includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Random drug/alcohol screens at least two (2) times per week
Attend three (3) self-help support meetings weekly
Successfully complete/advance in all recommended treatment modalities
Successfully complete Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP)
Pay $5.00 weekly 25th JDRC fee
Appear at office for reporting weekly
Appear at court as scheduled on monthly calendar
Must be abstinent from all mood-altering substances the last two weeks of Phase Two (2) in order to promote to Phase Three (3)
Phase Three (3) is designed to last twenty (20) weeks. Actual program time will vary with compliance. Phase Three (3) includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Random drug/alcohol screens at least two (2) times per week
Attend three (3) self-help support meetings weekly
Successfully complete/advance in all recommended treatment modalities
Successfully complete Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT)
Pay $5.00 weekly 25th JDRC fee
Appear at office for reporting weekly
Appear at court as scheduled on monthly calendar
Perform eight (8) hours of community service work every week
OR
Secure, at minimum, part-time 25th JDRC approved employment, proof of educational enrollment, Social Security Disability, or proof of pending application for Social Security Disability or an employment skills class
Provide proof of employment at least once per month. (i.e. check stub)
Provide proof of payment towards fines, fees, and restitution at least once per month
Must be abstinent from all mood-altering substances the last two weeks of Phase Three (3) in order to promote to Phase Four (4)
Phase Four (4) is designed to last sixteen (16) weeks. Actual program time will vary with compliance. Phase Four (4) includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Random drug/alcohol screens at least two (2) times per week
Attend three (3) self-help support meetings weekly
Successfully complete/advance in all recommended treatment modalities
Successfully complete Relapse Prevention
Pay $5.00 weekly 25th JDRC fee
Appear at office for reporting weekly
Appear at court as scheduled on monthly calendar
Perform eight (8) hours of community service work every week
OR
Secure, at minimum, part-time 25th JDRC approved employment, proof of educational enrollment, Social Security Disability, or proof of pending application for Social Security Disability or an employment skills class
Provide proof of employment at least once per month. (i.e. check stub)
Provide proof of payment towards fines, fees, and restitution at least once per month

Phase Five (5) is designed to last six (6) weeks. Actual program time will vary with compliance. Phase Five (5) includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Random drug/alcohol screens at least two (2) times per week
Attend three (3) self-help support meeting weekly
Successfully complete/advance in all recommended treatment modalities
Create a written relapse prevention plan
Pay $5.00 weekly 25th JDRC fee
Appear at office for reporting weekly
Appear at court as scheduled on monthly calendar
Perform eight (8) hours of community service work every week
OR
Secure, at minimum, part-time 25th JDRC approved employment, proof of educational enrollment, Social Security Disability, or proof of pending application for Social Security Disability or an employment skills class
Provide proof of employment at least once per month. (i.e. check stub)
Provide proof of payment towards fines, fees, and restitution at least once per month
Must have six (6) consecutive weeks of abstinence from all mood-altering substances to be considered for graduation
Aftercare Phases
Phase One (1) is designed to last thirty (30) days. Actual program time will vary with compliance. Phase one (1) includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Random drug/alcohol screens at least two (2) times per week
Adhere to written relapse prevention plan
Appear at office for reporting weekly
Provide proof of monthly payment on fines/fees/restitution
Must have thirty (30) consecutive days of abstinence from all mood-altering substances before promoting to Phase Two (2)
Phase Two (2) is designed to last two (60) days. Actual program time will vary with compliance. Phase Two (2) includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Random drug/alcohol screens at least two (2) times per week
Adhere to written relapse prevention plan
Appear at office for reporting weekly
Provide proof of monthly payment on fines/fees/restitution
Must have sixty (60) consecutive days of abstinence from all mood-altering substances before promoting to Phase Three (3)
Phase Three (3) is designed to last three (90) days. Actual program time will vary with compliance. Phase Three (3) includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Random drug/alcohol screens at least two (2) times per week
Adhere to written relapse prevention plan
Appear at office for reporting weekly
Provide proof of monthly payment on fines/fees/restitution
Must have ninety (90) consecutive days of abstinence from all mood-altering substances before promoting to Phase Three (4)
Phase Four (4) is designed to last four (120) days. Actual program time will vary with compliance. Phase Four (4) includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Random drug/alcohol screens at least two (2) times per week
Adhere to written relapse prevention plan
Appear at office for reporting weekly
Provide proof of monthly payment on fines/fees/restitution
Must have one-hundred and twenty (120) consecutive days of abstinence from all mood-altering substances before being eligible
